Aileen & Tommy

Aileen and Tommy are a couple that is quite close to our hearts because Tommy is like an older brother to us, in fact he is Cindy’s actual brother.

Aileen came to Canada as a student from China where she met and became good friends with Tommy. The moment Tommy knew that Aileen was the one for him was when he was driving her home one night and she started to cry because an unexpected mark on her class exam. Once she started to cry, so did Tommy. A friend can understand how you feel, a good friend can anticipate how you’ll feel but it’s a whole other level when they feel what you feel.

Tommy began to see himself almost as Aileen’s protector from that moment forward since she was in a new country all by herself. Her whole family was still in China, but once the two fell in love and announced their wedding, Aileen’s family were on the next flight over to celebrate.
